About these terms

Kosmolingo is run by Alberto Martinez, Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico (“we”). By using kosmolingo.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Free early access

Kosmolingo is currently a free early version. You don't need an account to use the lessons, and you can't pay for anything yet. Lessons are drafts awaiting review by native speakers, so they may contain mistakes, and features may change or be removed at any time.

The prices on our Pricing page are a preview. When paid plans launch, they will come with their own terms, which you will be asked to accept before paying.

Using the site

You may use Kosmolingo for your own learning, including in a classroom. Please don't try to disrupt or overload the site, copy its content in bulk with automated tools, get around its security, or use it for anything illegal.

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself and give a working email address. One account is for one person. You can delete your account at any time on your Account page. We may suspend an account that is used to break these terms.

Content and licences

Unless stated otherwise, the lessons, texts and design of Kosmolingo are © 2026 Kosmolingo. You may use them for personal, non-commercial learning, but please do not republish them without our permission.

Some content may come from open sources. That content keeps its original licence, and we credit it next to the item and in the credits below. Sentences from Tatoeba are licensed under CC BY 2.0 FR, and content from Wiktionary under CC BY-SA 4.0; if you reuse those parts, follow their licences. Today, all lesson content is original Kosmolingo writing.

No warranty

Kosmolingo is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best, but we do not promise that the site will always work, be error-free, or help you reach a particular level or certificate.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

Links to other sites

The site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of Tijuana, Baja California, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live.
